Long before Alexander Wang showed his cool street wear replete with vests, shorts, and now this season: efficient comely parkas, Daryl Kerrigan was the queen of downtown cool. Any girl worth her two cents below Fourteenth Street owned a pair of her skinny trousers. Now, after several seasons off the runway, the cool one is back. The pieces above speak for themselves.
Daryl’s close gal pal, Victoria Bartlett — who has been prominently featured on this blog– also showed a unique VPL collection for a female who can strut her stuff. Innerwear as outerwear, these bits are fierce. Not to be overlooked, Victoria collaborated with Orley Genger by Jacyln Meyer on membrane like rope and chain necklaces. Bryan Crumley fashioned the latex cuffs. And LD Tuttle showed her signature sexy shoes. All this for the indie girl with an artistic flair. See video below…..
