Susan Kirschbaum is a brilliant writer. She read a couple chapters of Who Town at Bowery Poetry Club the other night and you could have heard a pin drop. We were all waiting on her next word, turn of phrase. Who Town reflects the reality of twenty somethings on the downtown scene when the lights go dow, the cameras are shut off, and the doors are shut. Not too many people get behind those doors. Kirschbaum does.
