Remember when the World was flat?
When I could walk to the corner for a pack of gum
Run into a forgotten friend
A dash into a dive bar
A brew and a wink
Some pool game out back
My dark roots were showing
His fly was down
I looked away and laughed
Same way he did
When I sunk the eight ball way too soon
